On August 23rd we spoke to Eric Muñoz, The John Tyler freshman quarterback. He told us about his past experiences and what football means to him.
One of the things he enjoys about being on the freshman football team is that he gets to learn new skills every day. He is having the time of his life and has worked hard to earn his position. When asked about the game he stated, “I’m a little bit nervous about the first game tomorrow, but I am confident that we are going to win.” He knows that to be a good player and know what you are doing on the field, you have to practice hard to get better every day. When asked about what he considers the best part of the game, he said the whole team gets emotional when we score. John Tyler’s Freshman football team will compete against Dallas Jesuit in North Forney at 6pm.
